Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital, often helping to reduce stress and confusion for those finding it difficult to navigate the hospital.
The role
Walking with Purpose. The Lyell McEwin Hospital serves a community of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Our hospital guides help create a welcoming environment while assisting patients and visitors to get to where they need to be. We currently have vacancies on Fridays for this rewarding role.
Need to know
Full training will be provided. Must be available Fridays. 8:30‐12:30 or 12:30‐16:30.
To enhance healthcare services by coordinating dedicated volunteers who provide support, comfort, and care across Northern Adelaide.
We manage volunteers across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, including Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, and mental health services.
