Job Description
An established beverage manufacturing site is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead site-wide QC operations during a 14-month secondment period.
This is a senior site leadership role reporting directly to Operations, with full accountability for beverage safety, audit readiness and 24/5 plant quality performance.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of quality governance and plant compliance while supporting a high-volume beverage operation undergoing technical growth and system upgrades.
Core areas of focus:
• Leading the site Food Safety Team
• Managing 24/7 QC coverage and team supervision
• Driving compliance across GMP, HACCP and customer standards
• Leading all external, customer and regulatory audits
• Managing investigations into non-conformances and incidents
• Supporting operational decision-making in a 24/5 environment
• Embedding continuous improvement across quality systems
This role requires strong site presence and the ability to make high-risk decisions independently.
About You
You are a technically credible Quality professionally with experience in beverage manufacturing environments.
Your background is likely to include:
• Beverage, brewing, dairy or high-risk FMCG manufacturing
• Leading audit programs and regulatory interactions
• Managing quality teams within 24/7 operations
• Strong plant-level decision making
• The ability to influence operations without creating friction
