Payroll Officer Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Support professional to join our team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the payroll provider to ensure an accurate and timely payroll service.
About the Role
* Manage the payroll inbox and respond to staff queries in a prompt and courteous manner.
* Enter payroll adjustments and maintain accurate records in the payroll system with attention to detail.
* Liaise with Finance and the payroll provider to support the fortnightly payroll cycle.
* Assist with superannuation processing and end-of-month activities, ensuring seamless execution.
* Maintain the Payroll SharePoint site and provide general administrative support, maintaining a high level of organization.
Key Requirements
* Strong data entry skills and administration expertise with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Prior experience in payroll, HR, or finance administration is highly desirable, although not essential.
* Familiarity with Chris21 or iChris software is considered advantageous, but not mandatory.
