WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Leadership & Standards
o Able to provide strong and effective supervision of the front of house team with a “lead by example and from the front” attitude.
o An eye for detail that always ensures the highest of standards for our customers.
* Operational Delivery
o Hands on daily duties to ensure all elements are delivered across the Cellar Door, Bistro & Event spaces.
o You will be a detailed planner and use proven processes & procedures to prevent poor outcomes.
o Understanding of ‘whole of business needs’ approach and delivers results whist maintaining a customer focus.
o Monitors and controls stock levels and ordering.
o Assist with the leadership and development of our hardworking front of house team
* Daily Operations
o Understands the importance of venue presentation, operational readiness and daily checklists to ensure customers safety and satisfaction.
o A focus on high standards to ensure the customer feels comfortable, safe and valued throughout their experience and journey through our venue from stepping foot on our property until departing.
o Supervise daily reporting and cash handling.
o Monitor a roster against monthly budgets ensuring effectiveness in staff costs.
o Ensure daily operational tasks and checklists are completed.
Client & Partner Service
o Ensure that customers are given a high quality, prompt and efficient service.
o Be customer focused at all times; approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
o Ability to stay composed and professional in difficult and pressured situations.
Qualifications & Experience for this role:
o Minimum of 3 year of genuine experience in a hospitality leadership role
o Cert/Dip of Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management (or equivalent) will be highly regarded
o Sommelier &/or WSET Level 1 (highly desirable)
o Current RSA (required)
o Strong POS and reservation systems experience
