We are seeking expressions of interest for two upcoming roles as Asphalt Plant Operators. The positions will be based at our soon to be built Crooked Billet Drive Asphalt Production plant. It is a truly unique opportunity to come in on the ground floor and be part of building something unique and special for our business. We would be looking to put the roles in officially as we begin commissioning the plant, so you understand what makes it tick. Although Asphalt experience may be desirable, we are looking for team players with a curiosity and who really want to learn.
The ROLE
* Operates the Asphalt Production plant including relevant ancillary equipment.
* Performs production schedule as set out by the Asphalt Production Manager.
* Data recording including production, raw materials and energy efficiency.
* Basic laboratory duties such as taking samples and keeping records.
* Ensures product produced is to desired standard by following all relevant Production and QA processes.
* Orders materials and undertakes stocktaking as required.
* Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
* Performs basic maintenance tasks.
* Operation of Front End Loader and Forklift
* Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

About YOU
* Need to have a very good focus on safety above all else mentality
* Have some basic computer literacy.
* Be flexible with working hours including ability to work nights and weekends.
* Have an interest in multiskilling.
* Ability to work to a production schedule.
* Experience working with Asphalt or in Production (Asphalt or Concrete) is highly desirable but not essential.
* Current High Risk Forklift Licence or Front-End Loader ticket is highly desirable but not essential.
* Current 'C' class drivers licence and Construction Industry White Card.
* Be physically fit to meet the inherent requirements of the role.
* Current full working rights in Australia.
