The Role of a Fuel Terminal Operative
A key role in our operations is that of the Fuel Terminal Operative. This position reports directly to the Site Coordinator and involves managing day-to-day operational support at the terminal.
* Implement and enforce health and safety protocols across the site.
* Promote a safety-first culture, demonstrating visible leadership in health and safety initiatives.
* Carry out regular checks on gantry equipment and maintain surveillance of the fuel farm.
* Supervise tanker drivers during product loading, provide inductions, assess their competence, and conduct vehicle inspections.
Candidates for this position should be focused on health, safety, security, and environmental concerns. A mechanical or instrument/electrical trade qualification is desirable but not necessary. Effective communication skills are essential.
