Barwon Health, based in Geelong and one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, is seeking an exceptional medical practitioner to join our Psychiatry Trainees in MHDAS immediately and for the Rotation 2 2025 .
We welcome applications from doctors wishing to commence psychiatry training and current trainees transferring from other areas. Successful applicants will join a cohort of 33 psychiatry registrars at Barwon Health undertaking rotations within Barwon Health, Private Hospitals and Mercy Health in Werribee who are currently completing accredited psychiatry training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Trainees at Barwon Health will be immersed in a positive, engaged culture where Registrars are challenged and supported to become exceptional Psychiatrists. We have very high exam success rates and you will be taught and mentored by Psychiatrists recognised by the RANZCP as achieving academic, research and clinical excellence. We expect to guide you to completion of RANZCP training in the minimum five years and support flexible working arrangements. We provide an extensive variety of core and non-core RANZCP training rotations, all of which are supervised by accredited RANZCP Consultant Psychiatrist Supervisors.
