What will your typical day look like?
Design Data Solutions:
Architect comprehensive data solutions using modern platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Collaborate:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure our solutions align with business objectives.
Optimise Data Architecture:
Analyse and improve existing data architectures to enhance performance and scalability.
Oversee implementations:
Oversee end-to-end implementations of Data & AI projects, ensuring high-quality data management practices and supporting the engineering teams with architecture, engineering best practices, and technology choices.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance is strongly desired.
Hands-on experience with Cloud architectures such as AWS, Azure or GCP, particularly their data & AI services.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes is essential. Experience building various architecture and solution patterns, and data platform automation frameworks leveraging technologies like Airflow, Terraform (or similar technologies).
Knowledge of other data architectures and emerging trends in the field such as data mesh, fabric, medallion architecture.
Additional/desired skills or experiences:
Demonstrated knowledge of Data capabilities across a variety of technology vendors and cloud platforms.
Public sector experience is highly desired, at either federal or state government levels.
Experience participating in stakeholder discussions, development, and delivery of AI & Data solutions.
Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
Previous consulting or client-facing experience is highly regarded.
