We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Northbridge location. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
* Adhere to cleaning, food preparation, presentation, and food service procedures and standards
* Follow directions from the cook regarding portion control, cooking standards, and wastage
* Prepare meals according to menu requirements
* Serve meals efficiently in an organized way at the stipulated times
* Ensure the kitchen is clean, equipment is washed and stored correctly in accordance with hygiene standards
* Maintain correct storage of food items
* Adhere to the food safety plan including monitoring of food temperatures
* Delivery of food items to meet external catering requests
* Additional duties as directed
Requirements:
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment, their safe use, and management
* The ability to undertake basic manual duties
* A Current WA driver's License
* A willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Enitlement to work in Australia check
* Experience in kitchen work as an assistant or kitchenhand capacity
* Knowledge of OSH principles and practices
* Certificate level qualification in food hygiene or equivalent desired
