About this role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to support adults living with disabilities in a residential setting. The successful candidate will be an active participant in enhancing the lives of residents, fostering personal growth, and making a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centered support that caters to the unique needs, preferences, and goals of each resident. Promote their independence and ensure their overall well-being.
* Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Create a vibrant living environment by planning and facilitating recreational and social activities.
* Be a compassionate listener and a source of emotional support.
* Maintain accurate and thorough records of daily activities, progress, and incidents.
Requirements:
* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
* Valid Australian Driver's License
* Victorian Working with Children Check
* Current CPR & First Aid certificate
* Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent
