Emergency Department Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to provide high-quality emergency medical services in the Riverland community and beyond.

About the Role:
* Provide clinical services of the highest standard in the Emergency Department across a 24/7 roster.
* Work with limited or no direction, exercising a high degree of professional judgment and clinical competence in a multi-disciplinary setting.
* Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day management of the clinical floor.
* Respond to hospital MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required by allocation on shift.
* Provide supervision, training, and direction to more junior staff as needed.
* Participate in teaching and quality assurance activities, while also engaging in health promotion and community education initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
* Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
* Must hold a specialist qualification with the following colleges - RACGP, ACRRM and ACEM and be registrable as a specialist with AHPRA Granted specialist registration by the medical board for relevant specialty e.g. G/P, ACEM.
