About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Legal Assistant to join our highly regarded Real Estate team in Melbourne.
* Working directly with Partners and assisting an experienced paralegal team, this role provides a great opportunity to build your general support skills and real estate knowledge.
Your key duties will include:
* Preparation of Contracts and uploads to Docusign
* InfoTrack searching
* Drafting correspondence, document preparation (using precedents) and amendments
* Proactive diary management, answering calls and monitoring emails
* Managing the team's finance requirements including file opening, billing, reporting, trust requirements, expense claims, accounts payable and audit letters
* Managing all general administrative requirements including mail, scanning and printing
About You
* A background in legal administrative support, preferably in Real Estate
* Energetic, enthusiastic, team player committed to providing a high level of proactive support
* Organised and efficient, looking for an opportunity to be involved to provide outstanding service to the team and our clients
* Knowledge of Elite or other finance related software to manage expenses, matters, timesheets, client billing and reporting requirements
* Knowledge of Outlook to track key dates and ensure deadlines are met
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce high quality documentation
