This program aims to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, improve system usability, and build a sustainable digital foundation for future growth.
Your new role
As the Business Analyst - Procurement, you will play a central role in a large‑scale Business Readiness Program, helping to shape a new corporate services operating model ahead of a major ERP implementation. You'll act as the critical link between business operations and technology, ensuring the organisation is prepared for change and positioned to realise early benefits.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading business analysis activities to identify, explore, and document business problems, needs, and opportunities.
* Facilitating workshops, interviews, and presentations to engage stakeholders and validate requirements.
* Analysing current processes and systems to define problem statements, solution objectives, and success measures.
* Developing business analysis strategies and frameworks that support consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting user requirements for new processes and systems.
* Overseeing the design and delivery of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
* Translating business and functional requirements into compelling business cases.
* Influencing stakeholders to adopt consistent governance across end‑to‑end processes.
* Leading integrated data analysis and reporting improvements to support organisational outcomes.
* Communicating complex technical information in a clear, accessible way to support transformation and decision‑making.
You'll work within a matrix structure and collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project teams, and business partners across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring a strong blend of analytical capability, stakeholder influence, and practical experience in complex environments. Specifically, you will have:
* 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.
* Experience supporting and maintaining complex technology systems.
* A proven track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
* Excellent written communication skills, including business cases, reports, and executive‑level presentations.
* Confidence engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Experience working with virtual and cross‑functional teams.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, particularly during high‑pressure implementation phases.
* Adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Desirable:
* Experience in large‑scale transformation programs within government.
* Experience with SAP Signavio (BPMN).
* Business analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, etc.).
* Familiarity with SAP Activate and BABOK frameworks.
