Position: Corporate General Manager

Our client is seeking a Corporate General Manager to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial direction across their luxury beauty business located in Sydney, New South Wales.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Developing organisational policies, setting strategic objectives, and establishing performance standards
* Overseeing daily operations, providing leadership, and formulating policies to achieve goals, drive efficiency, and maximise profitability
* Monitoring changing circumstances and issuing instructions or decisions to staff as needed
* Collaborating with senior managers and department heads on operational procedures, equipment needs, financial planning, sales strategies, and human resources
* Approving funding for major policy initiatives and implementation programs
* Acting as the organisation's representative at formal events, negotiations, conferences, public hearings, and maintaining communication across departments
* Preparing or coordinating the preparation of reports, budgets, and forecasts for presentation to executive boards or governing bodies
* Appointing and evaluating the performance of senior executives and key personnel
* May also be responsible for specific operational areas such as finance, sales, marketing, HR, or other specialised functions.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related field is advantageous but not essential
* Minimum of twelve (12) years of proven managerial experience in the luxury beauty industry, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
* Strong understanding of strategic planning, financial oversight, operational management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and manage cross-functional departments.
* Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in complex and changing environments.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting to Boards or external stakeholders.
