Site Operations Director
Oversees daily operations to meet customer and contractual requirements.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for managing vehicle processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery. It involves planning and allocating labour to optimise workflows, adjusting priorities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage vehicle receiving, processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery to meet customer and contractual requirements.
* Plan and allocate labour to optimise workflows, adjust priorities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Oversee job card and invoice accuracy, vehicle and parts inventory, and cost compliance.
* Resolve daily operational and employee issues while fostering a high-performance team culture.
* Maintain relationships with freight carriers, manage facilities, and optimise site utilisation and lease arrangements.
* Drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO and safety compliance, and meet financial and OHS targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' management experience in a medium-sized P&L business, with a strong background in logistics; automotive industry experience is desirable.
* Holds a full driver's licence; tertiary qualifications in transport, mechanical, automotive logistics, or supply chain are an advantage.
* Proven leadership, team management, and people development skills, with strong communication, customer service focus, and ability to manage workload planning.
* Sound knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transport operations, with experience in industrial environments and solid computer skills for operational efficiency.
