About the Company:
Our client is a leading global healthcare devices company striving to make the world healthier and more sustainable through innovation developed across a broad range of medical technological devices.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Service Engineer to work closely with the repairs team. Some of your duties will include diagnostics, quoting and repairing of Respiratory Care equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test, calibrate, repair and replace parts of medical equipment
* Perform preventive maintenance and service
* Keep records of maintenance and repairs
* Spearheaded repair quotations using SAP Business One (SBO) and maintained detailed records of service histories, parts replacements, and assessment outcomes.
* Performed preventive maintenance, calibration, and documentation for in-house equipment, loaned devices, and ventilators in an ISO-accredited facility.
* Prepared monthly service metrics and technical reports to track repair outcomes and equipment reliability.
* Prepared and shipped repaired devices to clients within SLA timelines, coordinating logistics and documentation for seamless delivery.
* Diagnose healthcare equipment to quality standards
* Using SAP business one (SBO) for invoicing
* Follow the process for the Fixed Price Repair
* Maintain the calibration of test equipment
* Generate end of month reporting & update AU Service Metric
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering major.
* Minimum 1 year experience in medical technologies or similar electrical engineering roles.
* Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of technical complex systems
* Experience with SAP Business One is preferred but not essential
* Good communication skills - fluent in English, verbal and written.
