About the role
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanics and Service Persons to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in the Bowen Basin and Coalfields region, with the role of servicing and maintaining our onsite ancillary equipment. Successful candidates will be provided a mix of on-site and workshop training dependent on the experience and capabilities of the applicant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Undertake appropriate measures to ensure all service and maintenance records are maintained
* Undertake scheduled servicing and refuelling tasks of the Southern Cross Industrial Group ancillary equipment
* Identify and rectifying faults during inspections
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and to the highest standard
* Be customer focused with the intent to ensure customer satisfaction, adhering to all rules and regulations on their sites
* Work with departmental and interdepartmental staff in a pleasant and constructive manner
Skills & Qualifications
* Clear and respectful communication skills
* Prior experience in a similar role with trade skills and qualification
* A high commitment to safety, quality and possess a attention to detail
* Ability to work within a team and unsupervised when required
* A valid and current MR License
* Capability to pass various site and mine medical exams
