**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Manager, People & Culture to join their growing team in Sydney Olympic Park. This is an estimated 12month temp assignment with a potential to extend,
Working within the People & Culture business unit, you will be required to lead a team and partner with the business to drive effective, innovative and inclusive people management practices that build leadership and workforce capability creating an engaging employee value proposition culture
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Develop and implement the strategic People & Culture framework which is responsive to changing agency priorities
- Design and implementation of sustainable employee lifecycle people practices including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and professional development that enhance user experience and productivity benefits
- Manage and oversee the development and implementation of a strategic recruitment and selection framework
- Proactively engage with divisional stakeholders to capitalise on opportunities to enhance workforce management
- Lead and coach staff to build capability
- Drive a culture of high performance, best practice and continuous improvement
- Research and prepare advice in written format including briefs, advice, policy, correspondence and responses to requests
- Contribute to budget, strategic planning and reporting processes to mitigate risk
- Manage complex and sensitive workforce consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders
- Exercise sound judgement, empathy and discretion when dealing with sensitive and complex HR matters
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an equivalent field
- Demonstrated Leadership or Managerial experience
- Previous HR experience within a multifaceted organisation underpinned by legislation
- NSW Public Sector experience desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, resilient, and adaptable interpersonal skills
- Solid analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
