We are seeking experienced Senior Solicitors and Principal Solicitors to join our Public Law Division at the NSW Crown Solicitor's Office.
* About the Role:
* This is a mid-senior level job that involves representing NSW Government agencies in significant litigation matters before various courts and tribunals. The role requires highly developed legal skills and suitable experience which enable the provision of advice in complex areas of law in which the division specialises in.
Responsibilities:
* Representing NSW Government agencies in significant litigation matters before various courts and tribunals;
* Providing advice in complex areas of law;
* Managing a practice group and supervising solicitors in the early stages of their professional career.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent qualification;
2. Admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW;
3. Demonstrated expertise in litigation and case preparation;
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
