Database Administrator - Contract - Sydney - Hybrid
A long term client of Sustains is actively looking for a well rounded DBA to join their team on a 12 month contract. The client is based in Sydney and would expect you on site 2 days per week and 3 days remote.
Key Experience :
* Administer, maintain, and optimise SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL databases
* Monitor performance and implement tuning improvements
* Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes
* Support high-availability and replication environments
* Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues
* Implement database security controls and compliance measures
* Work closely with infrastructure and application teams
* Support ongoing projects and system upgrades
Nice to have :
* Cloud database experience (Azure / AWS)
* Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments
