Job Description
The Senior Procurement Officer plays a pivotal role in executing and supporting end-to-end procurement activities across various categories, including raw materials, packaging, consumables, and services.
This position ensures compliance with internal procedures, supports documentation and reporting, and collaborates cross-functionally to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate purchase orders for goods and services in accordance with approved specifications and budgets.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, complete documentation, and quality compliance.
* Manage quotation comparisons, support price negotiation, and assist in contract setup.
This role will also support the development and implementation of procurement processes and policies to drive efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Managing and reviewing import documentation for international shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and health certificates.
2. Ensuring compliance with Australian import licensing requirements and coordinating with customs brokers as needed.
3. Maintaining accurate and complete procurement records (POs, contracts, supplier evaluations).
4. Assisting in internal or external audits related to purchasing activities.
