AI Platform Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Queensland Digital Health Centre and contribute to the NASCENT program.
* The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of a real-time clinical AI evaluation platform across Australia.
* They will build their research profile in machine learning with transformative healthcare applications.
* The role involves infrastructure design and implementation, research and publication, independent and collaborative research, strategic collaboration, and methodology excellence.
* Teaching, supervision and researcher development, and citizenship and service are also key responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
* PhD in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
* Software engineering expertise, including design and implementation of AI-based models and infrastructure platforms.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Healthcare data domain, particularly Electronic Medical Record, OMOP and MIMIC databases.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated by presentations at conferences and communication to non-technical audiences.
* Publishing record in quality research outlets in relevant fields.
