Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: · Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care · Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation · Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team including the Surgical Consultant, Fellows, Registrar, and Allied Health to achieve excellence in patient's clinical outcomes and hospital experience · Ensure patient and staff safety · Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the patient · Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology Essential Criteria: · Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting · Experience in Ear, Nose & Throat (essential) · Experience in Stealth and da Vinci procedures (desirable) · Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) (Desirable) · Current Registration with AHPRA · Compliance with ACQSHC National standards · Commitment to quality patient care · Works independently and within a team · Exceptional time management and organisational skills · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Strong problem solving and analytical skills · Exceptional computer skills Why Healthscope?
