A heavy vehicle tradesperson plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of underground mobile mining equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Equipment Specialist: Troubleshoot issues with loaders, haul trucks, graders, and shotcreters to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintenance Professional: Repair and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and maximise productivity.
* Routine Servicing Expert: Conduct regular servicing to guarantee efficient maintenance operations.
Key Requirements:
* Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in underground hardrock mining environment.
* Technical Expertise: Familiarity with CAT Loaders, ITS, Agi Trucks is essential.
* Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose complex issues and provide effective solutions.
* Commitment to Safety: A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures is mandatory.
