About Bran Nue Dae & Germanus Kent House
Germanus Kent House is a 55 bed residential aged care home that has supported the Broome community since ****, delivering high quality, person centred care in a warm, safe and homelike environment. Conveniently located with Germanus Kent House is Bran Nue Dae, which provides culturally respectful respite services to local residents, supporting older people to remain living independently through social support and personal care, along with a small weekday Breakfast Club offering a meal, basic amenities and social connection.
About the Role
This full time leadership position oversees:
Germanus Kent House (Residential Aged Care)
Home Care Services in Broome
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective, compliant and person centred delivery of all services across these programs. This includes leading multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accreditation standards, and fostering a culture of excellence, safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a diverse team including Nurses, Carers, Allied Health and Hospitality staff
Ensure compliance with aged care regulations, quality standards and safety requirements
Oversee operational budgets and resource allocation
Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and systems
Coordinate funding tool documentation and reporting
Identify and manage risks across all service areas
Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management of staff
Drive a culture of coaching, development and high performance
About You
You may be an experienced Facility Manager or a Registered Nurse ready to step into a broader leadership role. You bring strong business acumen, excellent people management skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care.
To be successful, you will have:
Current
AHPRA registration
as a Registered Nurse
Strong knowledge of aged care standards, regulations and accreditation
Experience managing teams in aged care, health or community services
Financial and budgeting capability
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
Compassion, resilience and a commitment to person centred care
