About the Role
Casino District Memorial Hospital, part of Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD), is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager – Surgical Services (Nurse Unit Manager Lvl 2). The role requires efficient management of nursing and other relevant staff, coordination of the provision of nursing care, liaison with all health professionals, and responsibility for environmental health and safety management of the unit.
Responsibilities
* Efficiently manage nursing and other relevant staff under delegation and coordination of nursing care provision.
* Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high‐quality patient care.
* Ensure effective liaison between all health professionals.
* Maintain and improve environmental health, safety and quality standards within the unit.
* Support clinician engagement and contribute to the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
