**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Manage key activities for procurement and contracts
- Assist leadership to develop a best practice procurement strategy
- Manage tenders and contracts
- Manage all procedural documentation relating to procurement
- Manage tender submission and register
- Maximise efficiency of all procurement activities
- Consult and support all stake holders on all procurement activities
- Provide training to all staff regarding procurement and tenders
- Monitor and respond to any legislative changes affecting procurement
- Participate in ad hoc projects and liaise with leadership
- Manage data analysis and reporting relating to procurement
- Always promote a safe working environment
- Participate in QA and Continuous improvement
**ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Contract management or Business-related fields
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and tender contracts
- Expertise in high level communication, negotiation and facilitation in similar role
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial and budgeting principles
- Experience with Procurement / Contract Management and computerised reporting
- Current WA drivers licence
- National Police Clearance within last 12 months
**DESIRABLE**
- Previous experience with local government in a procurement, contracts management role
- Previous experience interpreting relevant Acts, Standards and Policies relating to procurement
