Our services include orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapy, sports doctors, podiatry, massage, exercise physiology, dietitian, psychology, core strengthening and gym.
About the role
Our physiotherapy team is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed exercise physiologist. We prefer the applicant has a special interest in managing work-related injuries to consult at our purpose-built exercise and rehabilitation gyms, as well as able to consult off-site at the client's gym or workplace if required.
At sportsmed, we believe in providing the best treatment possible in a supportive team environment, and by delivering quality one-to-one rehab programs.
The hours are negotiable between 3-5 full days per week, providing the potential to grow your client base.
Job responsibilities
* Performing one-to-one assessments on clients
* Delivering accredited exercise physiology services (RTWSA, private, medicare, DVA and NDIS)
* Creating a treatment plan, and communicating with the client's case manager and medical team.
* Continued education and learning.
Skills and experience preferred
* Bachelor of Science (Exercise Physiology)
* Good people skills
* At least 2 years of experience
* Current registration with ESSA
* Current professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance cover
* First Aid certificate and CPR
* Provider number availability.
All candidates must hold a current Working with Children Certificate.Successful candidates must present an original certificate or be prepared to acquire one prior to commencement.
