Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Civil & Infrastructure Projects
About The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil contractor in Western Australia. In this role, you'll support commercial management of land development, road, and civil infrastructure projects across metro and regional areas.
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll gain practical experience in cost control and project delivery while helping ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all compliance requirements.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 base (dependent on experience) + super
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to analysing the cost and schedule impacts of design changes, delays, and risks
Prepare project take-offs to assist with planning, procurement, and resource allocation
Quantify changes and assess drawing revisions throughout project delivery
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues
About You
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
Civil Engineers looking to move into a commercial/quantity surveying role are encouraged to apply
1-3 years' experience in quantity surveying or a related role within civil construction, land development, or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with civil construction processes
Able to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power BI)
WA Driver's Licence and Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
