About the role
Join the PTA's Finance and Contracts Division and take the lead in driving procurement excellence. As a Capability Coordinator you will play a key role in building a skilled, future‐ready workforce that delivers value‐for‐money outcomes.
As Capability Coordinator, you will be a key driver of innovation and collaboration, helping to shape the future of procurement at the PTA. You'll apply your strong understanding of government procurement frameworks and best practice standards to design and deliver impactful capability development programs. With a digital mindset you will confidently leverage AI and data analytics to enhance performance, and embed cutting‐edge strategies across the PTA. Your ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively will be essential in creating a culture of continuous improvement. About You!
* Demonstrated knowledge of WA Government Procurement Competency Framework and market leading procurement standards.
* Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating capability development programs, including competency‐based assessment.
* Understanding of AI technologies, ethical AI principles, and their application in procurement and workforce capability.
* Strong digital literacy and familiarity with procurement‐related systems and emerging technologies.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available to 3 March 2028, with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa until 03/03/2028.
