Within its concrete division, the business plays a critical role in supporting residential, commercial, and civil construction projects across Australia. The Southern NSW region is a well‐established but evolving market, where strong customer relationships and reliable service are key to maintaining leadership in a competitive landscape.

About the Role

This is a hands‐on, field‐based Account Manager role covering a large and diverse territory across Southern NSW — from Batemans Bay and Moruya through to Bega and Jindabyne. You'll be stepping into a well‐established customer base with strong market share, taking over from a long‐tenured incumbent. While the foundations are strong, the region is becoming more competitive, meaning success will come from proactive relationship management, service excellence, and consistent presence in the field. This is a highly autonomous role where you will act as the face of the business across multiple regional plants and customer segments, balancing account management with new business development in a live, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and grow a well‐established portfolio of customers across Southern NSW
* Take ownership of a broad regional territory including Batemans Bay, Moruya, Bega, and Jindabyne
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and civil sectors
* Build strong working relationships with internal plant teams (batchers, drivers, operations) to ensure seamless delivery
* Lead quoting, pricing, and tendering activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders
* Work closely with Operations, Technical, and Logistics teams in a time‐sensitive "live product" environment
* Maintain structured call cycles, pipeline management, and forecasting to achieve ~8.5–9k m3 monthly targets
* Operate as the key customer contact across a decentralised network of 8 regional plants

About You

* Experience in account management or sales within construction materials, building products, or a related industrial sector
* Exposure to operational or "live product" environments (e.g. concrete, aggregates, logistics‐heavy industries) highly regarded
* Proven ability to manage existing accounts while driving new business growth
* Comfortable working autonomously across a large, regional territory with regular travel
* Strong relationship builder, equally capable of engaging site‐level operators through to business owners and builders
* Commercially minded with experience in quoting, pricing, and margin management
* Self‐starter with a practical, hands‐on approach and strong accountability for results
* Resilient and adaptable in a market where competition is increasing
