Foster Care Practitioner Job

About the Role
As a Foster Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting foster carers in their role and ensuring that the home accommodation and the quality of care provided by foster families meet the required standards. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that children and young people receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain regular contact with foster carers to provide support and guidance.
* Complete comprehensive case notes and ensure accurate information is collected and stored on relevant databases.
* Attend regular professional supervision sessions, meetings, trainings, and development opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV or above in Youth Work or Child, Youth, and Family Intervention, or willingness and commitment to attain qualification within two years of commencement of employment.
* Relevant experience in a paid or voluntary capacity.
* A current Australian Driver's Licence.
