The Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong experience in IVR testing and emerging exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and Conversational AI (ConAI) platforms. This role sits at the intersection of traditional QA, voice systems, and modern AI-driven customer interaction platforms.
You will work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to ensure conversational experiences are reliable, accurate, secure, and customer-ready.
Key Responsibilities
* Test IVR and voice-based systems across inbound and outbound call flows
* Validate call routing, prompts, integrations, and edge cases
* Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
* Test Conversational AI / virtual assistant flows, including intent recognition and NLP responses
* Validate GenAI-driven outputs for accuracy, consistency, bias, and compliance
* Work with product owners and engineers to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
* Raise, track, and manage defects through to resolution
* Contribute to test strategy and quality standards for AI-enabled platforms
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience testing IVR platforms (e.g. contact centre or telephony systems)
* Strong background in Quality Engineering / Test Analysis
* Exposure to Conversational AI, chatbots, or virtual assistants
* Understanding of GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompts, intent handling, response validation)
* Experience testing APIs and integrations (REST, JSON, etc.)
* Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with platforms such as Amazon Connect, Genesys, Twilio, Google Dialogflow, Azure Bot Framework, or similar
* Automation experience (API or functional)
* Exposure to AI ethics, data privacy, or model validation
* Experience in regulated or enterprise environments
