Business Development Manager
The Role
Drive the commercial expansion for this Property Agency by identifying, pitching, and closing high-value partnerships. You will transform prospects into long-term clients, ensuring every agency portfolio meets Victorian legislative standards while consistently smashing sales targets.
The Responsibilities
* The Hunt: Self-generate a robust pipeline through cold prospecting, lead qualification, and proactive networking.
* The Close: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle—from initial showcase and tender management to final contract execution.
* The Onboarding: Partner with new clients through the transition phase, providing "Minimum Standards" training and legislative updates to ensure immediate success.
* The Growth: Build a high-visibility presence within the industry to expand the existing client base and protect recurring revenue.
* The Strategy: Collaborate with Directors to refine sales tools, research new service offerings, and optimize internal processes for maximum efficiency.
The Requirements
* Proven Hunter: Demonstrated success in revenue growth and new business acquisition (Property/Real Estate background highly regarded).
* Relationship Expert: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building long-lasting, high-trust partnerships.
* Self-Driven: An autonomous operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-activity environment.
* Tech Disciplined: Skilled in CRM management, sales forecasting, and data-driven reporting.
* Must be an Australian Citizen or have full work rights and be willing to undergo a Police Check.
The Package
* Salary: $90k base + Super + Commissions
* Commission: Staged 3-month ramp-up (0% > 50% > 100%).
* Location: 100% Onsite (Collingwood).
