The position has become available as a valued staff member is embarking on further studies. About the role:
You will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to both our patients and medical professionals. Strong time management, multitasking ability, adaptability, and a bright, enthusiastic personality are essential.
Our Medical Receptionists and Health Professional Assistants are highly valued and integral to the smooth running of our practice and the care we provide.
Initially offered as a casual role, 2–3 days per week
Opportunity to transition to a permanent position
THE PRACTICE
We are a modern and dynamic ENT specialist practice, with a diverse patient population, catering for both paediatric and adult disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. The philosophy of the practice is to provide the highest quality care to patients in a professional, busy, supportive and pleasant work environment. The practice seeks staff who are dedicated to their roles and enjoy being part of a valued team.
THE POSITION
The responsibilities will include:
* Administrative support, customer service and front desk duties
* Answering telephone calls and assisting with enquiries
* Managing appointments and surgeons' schedules
* Assistance of surgeons with clinic procedures
* Sterilisation of examination equipment
* Management of theatre lists and booking patients for surgery
* Stock ordering
Must be proficient in IT skills, computer skills are essential. You will be well supported by the specialist surgeons and senior staff at the practice.
We are seeking someone with a pleasant, caring disposition and a professional manner, who demonstrates excellent communication skills and genuinely enjoys providing high-quality customer service. You will be interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds, so confidence, warmth and a people-focused approach are essential.
