Are you an experienced cook ready to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated and capable Chef Manager to oversee our café and catering operations at Alcoa Wagerup. About the Role
As Cook Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of kitchen and catering operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Prepare and cook hot meals for breakfast and lunch to a high standard
* Managing staff rosters and supervising team members
* Ordering and stock control
* Coordinating onsite catering services
* Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
* Leading and motivating a small, dedicated team
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the standard for quality, consistency, and service excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Australian working rights
* Supervisor Food Safety Certificate
* Current Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
