We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Finance Business Partner / Accountant to join our Financial Services team.

* Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting systems, and work practices.
* Train and support colleagues and management in financial management and corporate systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Local Government Act and Australian Accounting Standards, as well as experience with BI tools and ERP systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) membership and tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business.
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex or government environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, plus experience with BI tools and ERP systems.
