This team focuses on expanding Jira's capabilities to non-technical teams (like Marketing, HR, Design) and enhancing the product's appeal to business teams. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and fill product gaps, improve onboarding experiences, and ensure Jira's competitive positioning in the market.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-centric designs that align with Jira's strategic goals.Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and consistent user experiences.Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of Jira's user interface.Engage with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.QualificationsSeveral (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software environments.Strong experience in experimentation and/or working as part of a growth team.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and decisions.Desired SkillsExperience with motion design and prototyping tools like ProtoPie.Familiarity with behavioral economics and psychology to enhance user engagement.Ability to conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions.
