Role Overview:
As our Medical Receptionist, you will be the essential first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing appointments, inquiries, and critical administrative tasks. Reporting directly to our supportive Practice Manager, you'll leverage your experience to streamline operations and support our doctors and staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
* Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and manage cancellations to optimize patient flow.
* Accurately verify patient information using Best Practice software.
* Handle phone calls and inquiries, ensuring timely message relay and follow-up.
* Assist doctors and staff with various administrative tasks to maintain seamless clinic operations.
* Process billing and payments in line with business requirements.
* Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation while adhering to privacy regulations.
* Address and resolve patient concerns, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrable background in a medical office setting or similar environment.
* Experience with Best Practice software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the capacity to multitask efficiently.
* Availability to work a variety of days and times.
