Job Details
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) is seeking a skilled Statistics Team member to conduct research and analysis, interpret corporate and operational statistical information, and produce comprehensive performance and management reports.
This role requires the ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity while placing the customer at the centre of all activities. You will work closely with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and networks to promote information sharing and establish best practice standards for crime information collection, analysis, and interpretation.
* Conduct research and analysis projects using operational and related data.
* Produce high-quality performance and management reports for senior management.
* Provide statistical consultation services to clients and stakeholders.
* Manage requests for statistical information from various sources.
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement statistical models and methodologies.

Requirements
* Australian citizenship.
* Negative Vetting 1 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
* Relevant knowledge and experience in statistics, econometrics, mathematics, or a related field.
* Proficiency in SAS and experience in practical application of statistical techniques and methodologies.
