**About the company**

**About the opportunity**
The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role in the distribution and supply chain management in Australia and New Zealand, creating business partnerships with our external wholesalers and distributor networks.
**Duties**
- Responsible for developing business partnerships and executing day-to-day business with the national wholesalers and distributors in Australia and New Zealand
- Responsible for recommending future changes to distribution agreements and successfully assisting with negotiations and/or audits
- Actively collaborates with external service providers and internal management to ensure strong ways of working and compliance with various regulations and quality requirements
- Collaborates with all therapy areas in the management of supply and demand planning, active member of supply and operations (S&OP) meetings for supply status review, including stock coverage, forecast accuracy, short-dated products and new product launch etc
- Works with global and local business partners to continue to optimize ANZ supply planning, logistics, inventory control and distribution processes
- Liaises with supply chain counterparts from the production plant to ensure high level of services, including timely stock replenishment, shipment tracking and product claim for damage/quality issues etc
- Works with physical distributor on stock management, including product receiving, transfer for short-dated/damage product control, repackaging products review as well as the correctness/validation of inventory data interfacing and issue GUI accordingly
- Manages product costs allocation, including imported invoices, Customs duty, forwarding Customs broker fee and product rework and package material purchasing costs etc
- Oversees the customer ordering processes and invoice management in Oracle and in the future SAP
**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years of related experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare manufacturing industry in supply chain management
- Bachelor's degree in science or business and/or business logistics
- Proven track record of managing ongoing business activity with partners to achieve a positive outcome while building mutually beneficial relationships
- Working knowledge of contracts and regulations, advisories, methodologies and standard operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas, lead and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on follow-through and issue-resolution abilities are required
- Strong system and software skills with experience onboarding new systems into an organisation eg. SAP
- Demonstrated project management and team-building skills
- Exercises sound business judgment and strong analytics when reviewing and forming an opinion regarding new opportunities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Able to effectively manage others in accomplishing necessary tasks, both direct reports and others in related areas of the business
- Highly organised, demonstrating attention to detail and able to prioritise and manage time effectively
