The Science Division is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Advisor (PARIS) to help drive operational excellence.
About the Role
As the Business Support Advisor (AO4) you will provide critical support to the Science Division by ensuring the smooth operation of the PARIS system. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to maintain data integrity, improve reporting outputs and deliver training to enhance system functionality and governance.
Responsibilities
* Administer and coordinate PARIS activities, including data quality checks, workflow coordination, and system administration tasks.
* Support monitoring and reporting activities to improve portfolio oversight and governance.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of reporting outputs, including dashboards and visualisations, to enhance the usability of project information.
* Provide financial and administrative advice, training and guidance to management and staff on PARIS system functions, processes and approval workflows.
* Review and evaluate administrative processes and reporting outputs, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and usability.
* Develop and document procedures for key Science Division processes in collaboration with the Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Programs.

Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in providing operational and administrative support within a complex system environment.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement practical solutions.
* High‐level communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice, guidance and training to a range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (including Excel, SAP Finance and SharePoint) and exposure to reporting or data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
* A proactive and solution‐focused attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
* A commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity and inclusion.
While formal qualifications in a science discipline are not mandatory, they will be highly regarded.
