Job Description
* Process pays and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
* Liaise with the HR department to ensure all payroll data is up-to-date and accurate.
* Prepare and submit reports on payroll activities to management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
* Handle all payroll-related queries from staff members.
* Maintain updated records of payroll procedures and any changes in rates or legislation.
* Assist with the annual audit process by providing relevant payroll information.
* Perform additional tasks as required by the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
* Proficiency in payroll software and other financial management systems.
* Strong numerical skills and an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
* A good understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
* The ability to work well in a team and independently.
