**About the Role**
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for improving the lives of seniors? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Join our team as an Assistant Manager and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional person-centred residential care and services.
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager assist to lead and manage our home in both Frankston and Rosebud, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
**Responsibilities**
- The position will see you working full-time Monday to Friday
- Travel between Regis Frankston and Regis Rosebud is required
- Reporting directly to our General Manager for both homes, you'll be responsible for supporting the overall operations and management of the homes
- Partner with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents
- Support General Manager to deliver optimal commercial results
- Lead and develop a skilled, cohesive team Lead the identification & management of risk & ensures compliance with legislated requirements
**Experience, Skills & Competencies**
- Health and/or aged care experience as a senior leader (advantageous)
- Demonstrated commercial acumen within a services environment
- Proven hands-on approach with a focus on customer service and leadership
- Capability and experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Record of accomplishment in financial, human, and asset management
- Knowledge of aged care funding (preferable but not essential)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local government regulations, statutes, and acts as they pertain to the aged care sector (preferable but not essential)
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Availability Monday to Friday with occasional need for evening/weekend work as required Flexibility within core business hours of 8 am - 6 pm
**Requirements for the role**
- Tertiary qualifications/degree, and post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly regarded)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
- To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof._
