About the Role
Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Emergency Department (ED) and General Medicine services. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive and growing team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our community.
In this key leadership role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of high‐quality Occupational Therapy services across NALHN. You will provide advanced clinical services and leadership, support other inpatient areas, mentor and supervise less experienced staff, foster professional growth, and ensure high standards of practice across the service.
Qualifications
* Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that entitles you to register as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
* Extensive clinical experience and ability to work independently in a fast‐paced, acute healthcare environment.
* Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability with evidence of mentoring.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required Checks
* DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Check (National Police Certificate) for general employment probity, vulnerable person‐related employment and aged care sector screening. Accreditation is provided by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.
