This Sales Assistant position exists to perform customer-focused retail tasks that support the daily operation of our store and the missional objectives of The Salvation Army.
About The Role
We are seeking a values-driven Sales Assistant to work in our Mooroopna, Victoria location.
* Provide exceptional customer service and assist with executing and coordinating store marketing and promotional activities.
* Process donations and ensure stock is correctly priced and available on the shop floor.
* Maintain visual standards of the store and keep stock organized.
* Assist with housekeeping activities to ensure timely completion.
* Follow Work Health and Safety guidelines and ensure site and personal security is maintained by all team members.
Requirements
* Relevant retail industry and/or customer service experience.
* Demonstrated customer service experience working in a retail environment with an ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Sound presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to interact with a variety of people.

Conditions
For Award Based roles, compensation is in accordance with GENERAL RETAIL LEVEL 3.
