We are a well-established fintech looking for a Senior Software Engineer who’s hands-on, pragmatic, and passionate about building high-quality software that solves real problems. This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck on the sidelines — you’ll be deep in the code, leading by example, and helping shape the technical direction of key projects.
You’ll work alongside a team of experienced engineers in a collaborative, no-nonsense environment where clean code, sound architecture, and product impact take priority over politics or process for the sake of it.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build scalable, maintainable software solutions using .NET (C#) and React;
* Contribute across the full SDLC — from planning and architecture through to deployment;
* Lead technical design sessions and break down complex problems into practical solutions;
* Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical upskilling;
* Collaborate with product, engineering leads, and architects to shape solutions and improve development practices; and
* Continuously improve engineering standards, tools, and ways of working.
What You’ll Bring
* Deep experience with full-stack development, particularly .NET Core and React;
* Solid grasp of relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL);
* Experience building RESTful APIs and working within microservices-based systems;
* Familiarity with modern cloud environments (Azure or AWS);
* A strong foundation in software design principles — DDD, clean architecture, SOLID, etc.;
* The ability to work independently and lead initiatives, while also being a strong team player; and
* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive mindset and a focus on delivery.

Salary up to $170,000 plus super. 2/3 day Hybrid model.
