TRSWA Residential Maintenance is a fast-growing and dynamic business in the residential building space. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to become the central pillar of the office.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and resourceful Office Coordinator / Office Administrator to join our Maintenance team. This is a full-time, permanent role that sits at the core of our operations, playing a pivotal part in ensuring our office environment runs smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you will support leadership, maintain daily operations, and liaise across key business functions – including administration, finance, HR, compliance, and events.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and internal communications
* Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team, including diary/calendar management and credit card reconciliation
* Oversee general office upkeep — maintain supplies, manage incoming/outgoing mail, and ensure the office is clean, organised, and presentable
* Coordinate visitor and staff inductions, ensuring compliance with workplace safety protocols
* Assist with HR processes such as recruitment administration, onboarding of new team members, and maintaining HR records
* Support the Finance team by assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, as well as generating reports as needed
* Organise meetings, staff events, team-building activities, and other internal functions
* Conduct regular office safety checks and manage relevant compliance documentation and registers
* Assist with preparing quotes, processing invoices, and supporting project-related administration and reporting
What we are looking for
1. Demonstrated administrative experience in a similar role
2. Efficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Organisational skills, specifically in prioritising tasks, manage deadlines, and multitasking effectively
* High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to following through on responsibilities
* Ability to work both autonomously and to a collaborative team environment
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Desirable Attributes
* Prior experience in project administration or within a technical or trade-related environment
* Familiarity with the roofing, maintenance, or building supply industries
