We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced GRP (Glass Resin Pipe) tradesman or craftsman to fill the role of Fiberglass Pipe Fitter.
* Prepare, assemble and apply complex laminations to GRP pipe joints in accordance with established procedures.
* Develop cutting templates for reinforcement materials while maintaining material traceability.
* Prepare the GRP substrate by mechanical abrasion in line with set specifications and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects related to materials and processes, including compliance with MSDS & quality requirements.
Key Qualifications:
* Three years of work experience in a relevant field or equivalent trade qualification.
* A valid White Card induction certification.
* Relevant courses or qualifications in manufacturing-related fields.
Job Description:
* In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling GRP pipes, as well as applying various layers of complex laminations to GRP pipe joints. You will also be expected to develop and prepare reinforcement cutting templates while ensuring material traceability.
