An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our Opal Specialty Packaging team at our Orchard Hills, NSW site. In this role you will manage both external and internal customer transactions, building positive partnerships and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently exceeded. This is a brilliant foundation role to launch and build a long-term career with a manufacturing leader.
How you will contribute to the success of Opal:
* Engage with our customers, receive and manage inbound calls, resolving process enquiries, order updates, and price variances.
* Accurately enter customer orders and track job statuses through to completion.
* Work closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate artwork and design requests.
* Collaborate with our estimating team to learn how quotes are built, utilising our internal applications to generate and upload quotes.
* Own the end-to-end internal sales process to ensure seamless service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
* Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or administration (experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly regarded).
* Exposure to or an understanding of estimating/quoting processes.
* Strong relationship management skills with a genuinely customer-centric mindset.
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Comfort utilising ERP systems and the MS Office Suite.
* A proactive attitude and an ongoing commitment to personal learning and development.
